Innovative Lighting Enhanced Electric Avenue Festival Experience

Electric Avenue Festival, recognised as the largest music festival in the Southern Hemisphere, welcomed 60,000 entries over two days. In a strategic collaboration between AC Lighting and Electric Avenue, a large number of premium luminaires were deployed to elevate the festival experience.

High-performance floodlighting, supplied by Visionary Technologies to AC Lighting, was strategically installed across key areas of the festival. They provided side-of-stage illumination, improved visibility in stage areas during transitions between sets, and ensured essential lighting in backstage zones. Additionally, lighting was used at security checkpoints, along exit routes, and during both setup and post-event clean-up to support smooth and safe operations.

Their expertise in delivering robust lighting systems for large-scale events made them the preferred partner for major projects such as this, ensuring that every installation met the highest standards of performance while enhancing the overall experience for organisers and attendees alike.

The 2025 line-up was announced in early September and featured around 20 international artists and 40 local acts across four stages, offering an exciting blend of global and local talent that further enriched the festival experience.
